Blockbuster changed the way their promo codes work. Now you have to send a text message to 39777 with one of the keywords below to get a $1 rental credit. Additionally, Blockbuster has changed their prices. Rentals now cost $3 for the first 4 weeks after release, $2 for the next 4 weeks, and $1 after 90 days. You can use the $1 rental credit toward a $3 or $2 movie, but it will only take off $1. Codes may or may not work.
Your phone must have shortcode dialing turned on. Some providers have this shut off, simply call them and ask them to enable it.
In the to field where the phone number would go type in 39777. Then, in the body of the text type in one of the codes below. Make sure to put them in all caps.
