Not only can sagging gutters look bad, they can cause erosion problems that, left alone could cause foundation problems.
I’ve supplied two different videos to help. Please note, the first video is for those who have gutters that currently have nails/spikes. This is the way I recommend doing this repair because if you use the brackets, you will have holes where the nails/spikes use to go through the outside of the gutter. Remember, we’re always thinking about curb appeal…..this is minor, but something someone may notice if you ever try to sell your home.
*****USING EITHER METHOD, IF YOU MAKE NEW HOLES AND ARE NO LONGER USING THE OLD HOLES, BE SURE TO USE AN ALL WEATHER ROOF CEMENT TO SEAL THE HOLES. THIS IS SHOWN AT THE END OF THE 2ND VIDEO. BE SURE YOU DO THIS, YOU’D BE SHOCKED HOW MUCH DAMAGE JUST A LITTLE WATER CAN DO! *****
We hope one of these options helps you!
