Paulding County Homes: Selling Chances Increased Again!

A ton of Real Estate Insiders are always saying, “Summer is the best time to sell a home.”  IT’S SIMPLY NOT TRUE!  Every Year, for the past 8 years, January through April have been the BEST months to get your home SOLD!  We told you two months ago, April would be the best month to sell.  We were right, until we pulled the May statistics.  We predicted a slight decrease from April to May, we were WRONG!  We did say May would still be a strong selling month, but we did not expect it to surpass April.  Don’t think this trend will continue, it NEVER has in the past.  If you want to get your home SOLD, do it now before the market turns in June!  In June, kids get out of school and people are focused on vacation and getting the kids settled for summer.  If you’re smart, you’ll get your home on the market RIGHT NOW in order to take advantage of the higher sales chances this month.

The Paulding County home selling statistics listed below are from May 2017 Market Absorption Rate for Paulding County homes priced between $100,000 and $125,000.

You can see that May 2017 is up 29% from April and up 205.9% from May 2016.  Hopefully we’ll see June 2017 be higher than June 2016, but remember, June usually slumps pretty deep!  DON’T WANT TO WAIT any longer, get your home on the market.  The chances of selling should dramatically decrease in June and may not pick back up in July like they did in 2016.
