Paulding County Homes: The Summer Selling Dip Is Upon Us, Sell Now Before The Chances Drop!

Paulding County Homes percentage chance of selling has been over 100% for the last 12 months and over 200% for the last 3 months!  May 2017 has shocked us, we expected it to be down from April 2017, somewhere in the range of May 2016.  To our surprise, it’s UP 34.1% from April 2017 and 61.4% from last May!  This means home buyers are aggressively seeking homes to buy.  This is GREAT NEWS for You as a Paulding County Home Seller, but we still believe the market is about to shift down, specifically in June.  We call it the THE SUMMER DIP!  Below the statistics we’ll explain this summer dip.

Specifically during June and July, home buyers shift their focus to High School Graduations, kids getting out of school, planning summer vacations, planning summer activities/child care for the kids, etc….  It happens almost every year, summer sales DECLINE SIGNIFICANTLY.  You can see it above looking at June and July sales percentages.  Winter and Spring are the BEST time to sale.  As you can see, sales only briefly pick back up in late summer and early fall before dropping again in October & November.  Get your home on the market NOW before the summer dip and the slower selling season afterward.
